What is in the brochure?

Who we are
Rivas Technology Group is the South Sound's security-first integrator. It is a security, smart home, AV and networking firm based at 415 Railroad Ave S in Kent, founded in 2020. It serves builders and homeowners across south King County and Pierce County. Our own team designs and installs in homes; on commercial projects we bring in licensed trade partners under our design and supervision.
The people who design a system are the people who program it and answer the phone afterward. The systems
One architecture, designed together. Ajax security with MotionCam detectors that deliver the first alarm photo within 9 seconds (Ajax), and leak protection with a water shutoff. Control4 as the control layer for lighting, shades, audio, climate, locks and the alarm. A wired network with an Island Router and ceiling access points. Lighting control and motorized shades, whole-home audio and theater, outdoor audio and permanent exterior lighting. And the Cat6A, speaker and conduit backbone beneath all of it. The brochure gives each a paragraph; the site gives each a page, starting at residential.
The five phases
Mapped to your milestones, the same on every job: design before permits, rough-in at framing, verification before drywall, trim after paint, and commissioning before keys. The brochure shows what your crews receive at each step, from the box-location sheet for the electrician to the labeled, documented enclosure at closeout. It also shows the 90-day workmanship warranty that runs from the commissioning date. The web version is smart home pre-wire for builders.
What you never deal with again
The support call. The brochure's argument is that the most valuable thing we bring is what we absorb: the buyer's technology questions from the walkthrough onward. At closing the homeowner receives our number, a documented system and the option of the CURATOR remote care plan, and post-move-in support stays with us.
What a complete install looks like

How we work with builders
The same way for one build or twenty: a plan review, a fixed proposal and the five phases above. There is no fee to work with us and no minimum volume. Builders get prewire plans on every active project, a fixed-price proposal within three business days, priority scheduling and one named project contact from plans to closing.
They also get a whole-home lighting design at no charge with a signed install contract on homes under 5,000 square feet. A standalone lighting design without an install commitment is quoted per project and includes fixture selection, keypad and circuit layout and a scene schedule your electrician can build from. What drives the cost?
Square footage, drop and zone counts, and how far the buyer goes at closing, from a backbone-only pre-wire to lighting, shades, audio and a theater. Open walls keep labor low, which is why the brochure argues for drawing the full plan even when the buyer starts with security and Wi-Fi. Published ranges are on smart home installation cost; a buyer can get a first number from the instant quote, and you get a fixed one from the plan review.
